Cleaning and maintenance: The candle holder is made of solid brass and will naturally tarnish. Since the product has not been coated, the tarnishing process begins as soon as it is manufactured. Therefore, your STOFF Nagel product may have traces of tarnishing even when brand new. You can easily remove candle drips by placing the candle holder in hot water until the wax softens. To remove tarnishing, place the candle holder in a solution of warm water with 1 tbsp of citric acid per ½ liter of water and a drop of dish soap. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Wipe with a dry cloth. If it still shows signs of tarnishing, use brass polish and wipe with a dry cloth to restore its shiny appearance.
