Beautiful Sugar Bowl Seaweed from Sthål, 8.5 cm, from the lovely Arabesque series.

The name arabesque comes from French and means Arabic. It is also a special artistic expression with looping patterns of plants, leaves, and streams. All pieces are made from white stoneware clay fired at a very high temperature, making the ceramic durable. The beautiful glazes are carefully chosen to make food look appetizing.

The craftsmanship, in combination with the clay and glaze, has a life of its own, giving each item a unique appearance. No two pieces are exactly alike, but the relationship is clear. The result is bohemian utility ceramics for everyday use or special occasions. An untraditional full service, if you will, where each piece also makes a statement as a single accent to your existing service.
