The beautiful serving dish/pizza dish in Old Rose comes from Sthål's beautiful Arabesque series. The name arabesque comes from French and means Arabic. It is also a special artistic expression with looping patterns of plants, leaves, and streams. All pieces are produced in white stoneware clay fired at a very high temperature, making the ceramics durable. The beautiful glazes are carefully chosen to make food look appetizing.

The craftsmanship in combination with both the clay and the glaze has a life of its own, giving each item a unique appearance. No two pieces are exactly alike, but the relationship is clear.
