The name arabesque comes from French and means Arabic. It is also a special artistic expression with looping patterns of plants, leaves, and flowing lines. All pieces are made from white stoneware clay, fired at a very high temperature, making the ceramics durable. The beautiful glazes are carefully chosen to make food look appetizing.

The craftsmanship, in combination with the clay and glaze, has a life of its own, giving each item a unique appearance. No two pieces are exactly alike, but the relationship is clear.
