Terms of purchase
The following terms and conditions apply to purchases made in the online store karjolenbuskerud.no. The conditions apply between Karjolen AS and private individuals who shop with us online. You enter into a binding agreement with us when you submit your order. However, the agreement is not binding if there are typographical errors or misspellings from the seller in offers, orders, or payment solutions.

Payment
All prices in the online store are stated in NOK including VAT. If you are under 18 years old, you must have permission from a parent/guardian to order from us. We offer several secure payment solutions that provide security.
Delivery and Shipping
Parcel to parcel locker or pick-up point via PostNord
When you shop with us, we send your order at a fixed shipping rate of NOK 99. The package is sent with tracking to your nearest parcel locker or pick-up point. If you are to pick up the package in a PostNord parcel locker, you must download their app to retrieve the package. You will receive an SMS when the package is ready for pick-up. It is your responsibility to provide the correct phone number when ordering. The package must be picked up within the pick-up deadline.
Pick up in store
You can pick up your order for free in our store at Alti Buskerud. You will receive an email when your package is ready for pick-up. Please note that you cannot pick up your order until you have received confirmation that the package is ready for collection. Only the person who ordered the package can pick it up, and identification must be presented.
Delivery time
Normal delivery time is 3-5 business days after the package has been shipped from us. During periods of high demand, delivery time may be somewhat longer. If you have not received your package within 12 days, you must contact us. After one month, the package is considered delivered.
If you do not pick up your package at the delivery point and it is returned to us, you will be charged a fee of NOK 250. For in-store pick-up, the package must be picked up within 2 months, otherwise it will revert to Karjolen. You are responsible for providing the correct email and phone number when ordering. Please note that emails may end up in the spam filter, so check your junk mail if you cannot find the confirmation.
Right of withdrawal, return, exchange, and complaint
According to the Consumer Purchases Act, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you received your order. For in-store pick-up, the right of withdrawal begins 5 days after the order is registered and you are notified that the package is ready for pick-up. The item must be returned in the same condition as you received it. This means that the item must be unused and tags must be attached. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that cannot be resold for hygienic reasons. We therefore note that food and scented candles, etc., cannot be returned/exchanged.
Exchange
If you wish to exchange an item, please place a new order, and we will refund the money for the returned item as soon as your return has been processed. You are responsible for ensuring that the package reaches us, and we recommend sending the package with tracking so that the item is insured. You are responsible for the contents of the package until we have received your return.
Complaint
If there is a defect in the item you have received, you must contact us as soon as possible. You have a 2-year right to complain from the day you received the item. This assumes that you notify us within a reasonable time and that you provide a receipt and/or order number confirming that the item was purchased from us. The right to complain does not apply if the product has been used abnormally much or washed incorrectly. Send us an e-mail at kundeservice@karjolen.com and we will help you with the complaint form. Refund for returns and complaints
When we receive your return, you will receive a confirmation from us by e-mail. If you return the entire purchase, you will be refunded the value of the item(s) within 14 days of us receiving your return.
Important Information
We reserve the right to:
- The item may be out of stock.
- Colors may differ from reality.
- Typographical errors may occur.
- Small discrepancies in stock status may occur, as we share a warehouse with the physical store and this is regulated electronically.
Privacy & Security
Our customer data is stored according to Norwegian law, and we follow GDPR rules for secure handling of personal data. Since we offer Klarna at checkout, we must transfer your personal data in the form of contact information and order details so that Klarna can handle your purchase. Klarna processes your data as an independent data controller, and you can read more about how they process your data in Klarna's own privacy policy. We only share your data with Klarna for this purpose.
We use secure payment solutions, and the transfer takes place with secure SSL encryption. This means that no unauthorized persons can see your card details when you shop with us, and it is completely safe to shop with us.
We store your customer data in accordance with Norwegian law, and it will not be shared/sold to a third party. We are responsible for all card transactions through our website.
Images and text belong to Karjolen AS and may not be copied without permission. When reposting on Instagram or Facebook, images must be marked with #karjolen and feel free to tag us.
