From the harvesting of the tree sap that becomes lacquer resin to the sanding and cutting of the wooden bases, every step of the process is carried out by human hands. Lacquer artisans apply Caspari artwork to the wood, add gold leaf and hand-painted details, before patiently applying a series of high-gloss lacquer layers to finish and seal the piece. The care and attention to detail results in a lacquer collection of incredible beauty.
